It's a wonder why people use these things, let alone buy another pair after the one that came with their iPod breaks. In my opinion they are the most uncomfortable earbuds/headphones I have ever worn. They barely fit in my ear, so I am forced to jam them in my ear to make them stay in, which is very uncomfortable. On top of that, they are very cheaply made and the sound quality is less than subpar. There is little low-end with these. I bought the jbuds earbuds (the cheap ones) and they are comfortable and although they aren't exactly high-end, they sound 10x better than these! These come with the iPod just so you can listen to them out of the box. Apple did not put much thought and care into this design (at least I can't imagine that they did). Do yourself a favor: toss the stock headphones and UPGRADE.

These in-ear headphones do not stay comfortably in the ear, however, this was not a problem for long, because they fell apart within the first week I owned them.
